How to Use:
Step 1: Cut out around your chosen nail metalix including the backing sheet. Hold with a tweezer and heat gently with a hair dryer for 6 seconds.
Step 2: Use the tweezers to remove the heated Nail Metalix from the backing sheet, lifting from the straight edge.
Step 3: Align the curved end of the Nail Metalix 0.5mm from the cuticle line. Press onto the nail along this edge only to anchor in place. Do not place too near or on top pf the cuticle as this will cause lifting.
Step 4: Grip the free corners of the Nail Metalix and firmly pull outwards and downwards to smoothly stretch the Nail Metalix over the curve of the nail.
Step 5: Using the cuticle pusher, press firmly over the entire nail plate from the middle outwards. Ensure all air bubbles and creases are pushed out.
Step 6: File off excess nail Metalix from the free edges of your nails.

Excess Rio Nail Metalix may have been filed off incorrectly. It is important to file excess Rio Nail Metalix at 90 degrees to the free edge and in a downward motion only.
Why are my Rio Nail Metalix lifting at the cuticle? Rio Nail Metalix may have been placed too close or on top of the cuticle. Make sure a gap of at least 0.5mm is left between the edge of Rio Nail Metalix and the cuticle on natural nails and a gap of 1mm on nail extensions. The cuticle produces oils which may get under Rio Nail Metalix if they are placed too close.
There may be some residual skin cells left near the cuticle. Ensure all skin cells are removed before applying Rio Nail Metalix.

Your nails may be too cold. Rio Nail Metalix will apply more successfully to hands or feet that are atbody temperature.
